Hello! My name is Aubrey- the artist behind Destination Wedding Painter. I am living out my dream as a professional artist while helping make the dreams of others come true, one wedding at a time. Each painting is a beautiful, hand-painted representation of your most special day- a timeless work of art that you will cherish for a lifetime. As the name suggests, I’ll happily travel anywhere to capture your wedding or event on canvas- offering you and your guests a truly mesmerizing experience.
I grew up in an artist family in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and as early as I can remember I had either a pencil, a crayon or a paintbrush in my hand. Although I did later earn a degree in Art Education through the University of South Carolina Upstate, much of what I learned was self taught or taught to me by my talented artist parents. Becoming an art educator opened up the world for me and during the decade following graduation, I lived in several different incredible locations across the globe, instilling in me my passion for world-travel and the exploration of other cultures! Today, with my live event and wedding painting business, I combine these two interests, living out my childhood dreams. Through my art and live painting process, my desire is to bring joy and happiness to my clients and leave them with something they can cherish for a lifetime of love together.
